Aliza Lavie: “Learn about the situation. Do your own research.”
MK Aliza Lavie (Yesh Atid) met with a delegation from Med Israel for Fred (MIFF), a Norwegian organization whose primary objective is advocating for Israel and fighting against BDS. MK Lavie welcomed the delegation by thanking them for all the hard work they do supporting Israel, and fighting against the negative representation of Israel in the media. MK Lavie stressed that she thinks the world must be honest, and how MIFF’s work is an example of that. After explaining about the importance of understanding what it is like to live in a complicated living situation, MK Lavie took questions from the delegation. Questions ranged from how to increase the trade of fish between Israel and Norway to the status of women in Israel.
